BONGABONG FS TEAM, MEETS HONORABLE MAYOR





Since it's a new week, we'll observe in a different classroom once more. Following the flag ceremony, we approached Ma'am Arcenas and inquired as to which classroom we would be observing.




   

        The third week of our FS1 has us here at Grade 11 GAS to observe. We approached the adviser that we would like to observe in her classroom for a week, and she nodded and smiled. We were led inside and seated in the back. As we introduced ourselves to the students, she told them that we were from Koliheyo Ng Pantukan and had come to observe them. 



The first subject was not done with its 1-hour period due to the program held in Bongabong gym for its 24th Araw ng Bongabong 18th Kanaton Festival. And all teachers and students were supposed to be there on the program.

We didn't miss the opportunity to speak with and take pictures with honorable and handsome mayor, Mayor Jhong Ceniza. S0 MUCH THANKFUL!!💚

  TEACHING IS THE GREATEST ACT  OF OPTIMISM My very humble and beautiful CT, ma'am Kharen Joy Quimpan, a Grade 11 GAS strand adviser "Give the students something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results."  - John Dewey                             Ms. Kharen Joy an Oral Communication teacher wrote her lesson on the board while letting her students copy it. Afterward, she then picked students to explain the chosen topic about the communicative strategy and told the students to avoid code-switching as much as possible.  When the students were asked to explain a concept using their own ideas and refrain from using colloquial language, I observed that the resource teacher was encouraging higher-order thinking skills when putting advanced cognitive demands on  students.
