 It's a Great Day, 2nd Day!

More experiences, more learnings.

As early at seven (7:00) o'clock in the morning, we arrived in school. After signing the attendance sheet provided by our little principal and receiving my DTR, I immediately proceed to my designated classroom and observe the students' daily routine in the morning. Some students are cleaning, while others are doing nothing. I also see some students preparing visual aids and pasting them on the board. I discovered that there are 19 honor students in the class, which is also what I heard from their adviser on my first day of classroom observation. The first period begins at 7:45 a.m., but the class begins at 8:00 a.m. because the teacher arrives at that time. While the teacher is listening, the assigned group of students reported in front. After the students had discussed the topic, the teacher chose one student from each group to ask their classmates whether or not they understood the topic. During the discussion, the entire class is silent, and the students who are called are the only ones who will respond. I noticed how the teacher devised a strategy to motivate students, particularly those who are noisy, to behave well.

After the class, we proceed at the gym at 10:00 a.m. for the program welcoming the new principal.
