We will have to deal with new uncertainty as we begin a new school year. We must go through yet another difficult learning phase. Overall, we are getting closer to our goals, which include becoming the kind of knowledgeable, moral, efficient, and all-around experts that the state requires.

I'm Retchelyn V. Suico, a fourth-year student at Kolehiyo Ng Pantukan studying Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in English, and I'm excited to begin my new adventure. Regardless of how close I am to realizing my ambition at the moment, I am confident that this journey will bring me closer.

          This e-portfolio details my experiences as a student teacher. You will see the various classrooms and students that I encountered during my FS1 journey.

Furthermore, you will see the various artifacts that I have documented. You will also see the environment of Bongabong National High School as well as the various buildings within the school.

              By deciding to become a teacher, I have committed to being the best academic, personal, and ethical role model I can be for myself and my future students. My goal is to have a mutually enriching teaching career by keeping an open mind and communicating with my peers and students on a regular basis. I am ready to face the challenges of teaching, and I promise to give every student I meet an honest, straightforward, and well-rounded education.

  TEACHING IS THE GREATEST ACT  OF OPTIMISM My very humble and beautiful CT, ma'am Kharen Joy Quimpan, a Grade 11 GAS strand adviser "Give the students something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results."  - John Dewey                             Ms. Kharen Joy an Oral Communication teacher wrote her lesson on the board while letting her students copy it. Afterward, she then picked students to explain the chosen topic about the communicative strategy and told the students to avoid code-switching as much as possible.  When the students were asked to explain a concept using their own ideas and refrain from using colloquial language, I observed that the resource teacher was encouraging higher-order thinking skills when putting advanced cognitive demands on  students.
